The Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph delivers precise velocity measurements for firearms, archery, air guns, and paintball. It features a high-speed 48 MHz processor and an advanced data interface, with each unit factory-calibrated after assembly for superior accuracy within ±0.25%. The large LCD screen displays velocity readings in either feet per second or meters per second for easy operation.

Shot string velocity data can be transferred to a smartphone via the included 15-foot audio jack cable. A free app records shot velocities, environmental conditions, and specific load data, automatically calculating average velocity, standard deviation, minimum and maximum velocities, and velocity spread. The data can be stored or exported via email.

The chronograph is equipped with extra-wide sunshades made from durable synthetic material, ensuring reliable performance even in bright sunlight. It includes a ¼-20 threaded insert on the bottom of the housing for tripod mounting and operates on a 9-volt battery (not included).

Capable of measuring velocities from 5 to 9,999 FPS and can be switched to Meter per Second M/S too. This chronograph suits a wide range of shooting applications. The companion app is available for both iOS and Android. iPhone users with models lacking a 3.5mm audio jack may require an adapter for proper connection.
